Have you ever wondered what a cigar would be like if the tobaccos were all mixed-up in a different order? Maybe not, but now I’ve piqued your interest! Inverso is the word for Inverse in Italian and this cigar is the result of inverting all the tobaccos used in the Fratello Navetta.
The original Navetta was a homage to the US Space Shuttle program that brand owner, Omar deFrias worked on during his 10-year stint at NASA. If Navetta is the “Ying”, Navetta Inverso is the “Yang” (or, maybe Navetta is the Yang and Inverso is the Yin…)
Navetta Inverso uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Compared to the original Ecuadorian Oscuro wrapper over a Dominican binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
By turning the cigar inside out, this created a creamier medium body blend, with layers flavor including citrus, leather, cocoa and white pepper.
This cigar is begging to be paired with a classic Manhattan or Dirty Martini!
