“Reverend” Mike Lohsl has successfully completed all the requirements for the designation Certified Retail Tobacconist (CRT) through Tobacconist University (TU). CRT’s are the world’s most prestigious and credentialed professional tobacconists.
Tobacconist University is the first and only organization that educates and certifies professional tobacconists. TU is the exclusive educational curriculum for the Premium Cigar Association (PCA), the industry’s oldest and most prestigious trade organization, and has been certifying consumers and professionals since 1996.
TU’s Vision is; “To build and project the credibility of the luxury tobacco industry in order to gain cultural acceptance around the world – preserving luxury tobacco for generations to come.”
The Tobacconist University (TU) Academic Curriculum is the most extensive educational tool available to consumers of luxury tobacco and professional tobacconists. The CRT Program consists of study in four areas of concentration — Tobacco, Accoutrements, Taste and Service.
To become a CRT, a tobacconist must successfully complete an extensive academic curriculum and adhere to a strict Code Of Ethics;
