KNUCKLE SANDWICH 55 MEXICAN NOW AVAILABLE AT CHESAPEAKE

In February, 2022, TV’s Mayor Of Flavortown, Guy Fieri, introduced his special cigar project with Espinosa Premium Cigars, which hit the shelves of shops all over the US. That original release included two wrapper choices — Habano and Maduro.

As 2022 turned into 2023, Fieri added a Connecticut blend to round out his standard line and released a LIMITED EDITION cigar to celebrate his 55th birthday — KNUCKLE SANDWICH 55 MEXICAN. Packed in special boxes of 10, Fieri’s birthday cigar comes in a oval-shaped 5.5 x 55 Robusto Extra.

Blend-wise, the Knuckle Sandwich 55 uses a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Like the other Knuckle Sandwich cigars, it is made at AJ Fernandez’s San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. (The standard release Maduro is a Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf).

“Guy wanted to do something special for his birthday and what better gift than a special cigar made for a special occasion,” said Erik Espinosa of Espinosa Premium Cigars. “As luck would have it, this limited release coincides with the one-year anniversary of the launch of Knuckle Sandwich Cigars. We are both very proud of the success and reviews the brand has garnered in its first year.”

Knuckle Sandwich 55 Mexican is very limited, with only 555 boxes of 10 made (that’s 5,550 total cigars).
