Chesapeake has been carrying the Fratello cigar line since it was founded in 2013. Former NASA Project Manager, Omar deFrias who lives in Ashburn, VA, hit the market with incredible energy and a fantastic first cigar in the Fratello Classico. We immediately liked Omar, but we like a lot of people. Regardless of his magnetic personality, if the cigar doesn’t do it for us, we pass. His cigar was fantastic, so we took a chance on the new guy on the block and brought his cigar in.
This deliciously good blend of tobaccos consists of masterfully aged Peruvian and Nicaraguan long fillers that are deftly bunched inside an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and finished with a top-shelf Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. From these treats you’ll get a rich and complex medium-full bodied smoke that is loaded with notes of spice, leather, pecan, pepper, coffee, wood, and an overall creaminess that delights the palate.
