First there was the milder 92-rated Cuellar Kreme Connecticut. Then, Villiger added the fuller bodied 94-rated Cuellar Black Forest (Maduro). Now, Villiger has added something in the middle, the Cuellar Caribe Habano.

I’m usually happy to sample any new cigar with a Habano wrapper, so when I got a chance to smoke Villiger’s newest, I was immediately attracted to the new Caribe.
“We asked Jochy Blanco to help us develop a medium-bodied blend to complement the two existing ones. After experimenting with multiple blends, we decided on a refined version of the Villiger TAA 2021—which Jochy Blanco crafted for us—to be the new Caribe blend.”
These beautiful medium bodied Ecuadorian Habano wrapped cigars start with floral and woody notes, evolving in complexity with hints of almond and roasted coffee with a dried fig finish.
