La Historia was the original release in the Perez-Carrillo Series of Cigars, earning the number two spot on the Top 25 Cigars of 2014 with a 94 rating. It was followed in 2018 with Encore, which was the Cigar of the Year with a 96 rating and Pledge in 2020, which was also chosen Cigar of the Year with a 98 rating. La Historia is included in the series now known as the Trilogy.
A blend that was selected for the perfect marriage of texture, flavor, and balance, La Historia employs a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers.
